This is Aisha. Growing up, my dad instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of education. We immigrated so that my sister and I could have access to better education and greater opportunities. My grandmother, like many women before her, was never afforded the opportunity to go beyond second grade. She was pulled from school to help with household chores, a story that echoes the struggles many girls face today. I feel both a deep sense of responsibility and a passionate drive to create opportunities for girls—leading me to sponsor Aisha’s education in Tanzania since she was 5.

Books play a huge role in my daily life. I enjoy reading across all genres—anything that grabs my attention and keeps me hooked. If you have any recommendations, feel free to share them below! Here are a few of my recent favorites:- The Coming Wave by Mustafa Suleyman
- The Happiness of Pursuit by Chris Guillebeau
- Outliers by Malcom Gladwell
- Princess by Jean P. Sasson

"To travel is to evolve.” – Pierre Bernardo
Traveling is one of my greatest passions. I love exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and meeting people from all walks of life. With every trip, I grow more appreciative of the resilience, determination, and uniqueness that define us all. The more I travel, the more I’m convinced that, despite our differences, we are all more alike than we realize—and that there’s far more good in the world than we often see.

Yoga has been a part of my life for a long time but it is not till this year that I have had the oppertunity deep dive into my practice. I hope to aquire my yoga certification and teach in the near future.
